Privacy Policy

Keyo ("the app", "we", "our") is a custom keyboard app built and operated by NovexaHub. This policy explains what information Keyo handles, where it is stored, and the choices you have. The short version: Keyo is designed so that what you type stays on your device.

1. What Keyo does not collect

• We do not receive, store, or transmit the text you type with the keyboard.
• We do not run servers that process your keystrokes or clipboard content.
• We do not sell or share personal data with advertisers or data brokers.

2. Information stored on your device

The following data is stored locally on your device only:

• Typing statistics. If you enable "Allow Full Access", the keyboard counts words, characters, streaks, most-used keys and emoji to power the Stats screen. These statistics never leave your device.
• Chat history. Your Keyo AI conversations are saved locally so the keyboard panel and the app can show them back to you.
• Reminders and notes. Reminders parsed from what you type, and notes you save, are stored on-device and trigger local notifications.
• Your settings. Your chosen theme, AI configuration and preferences are kept in the app's local storage.

Uninstalling the app removes this data. Because it lives only on your device, we cannot access, recover, or delete it for you.

3. Allow Full Access

iOS asks keyboards whether they need network access. Keyo works fully without it: without Full Access there are no clipboard offers, no typing statistics, no learned words, and AI questions carry only the text you explicitly send.

With Full Access enabled, the keyboard can write your typing statistics to the shared on-device store and reach the AI service you configured. Even then, Keyo itself sends nothing about your typing to us.

4. Keyo AI and third-party AI providers

Keyo AI is "bring your own service": you configure an OpenAI-compatible API endpoint, your own API key, and a model of your choice in the app's dashboard. When you ask a question or request a smart reply, the request goes directly from your device to that provider — not through us.

• Your API key is stored on your device and sent only to your configured endpoint.
• The content of AI requests is governed by the privacy policy of the provider you choose.
• We recommend reviewing your provider's data handling terms before pasting sensitive text.

5. Analytics

We use PostHog to collect anonymous product analytics — for example, which screens are opened and which features are used — so we can improve the app. These events do not include what you type, your messages, your clipboard, or your AI conversations.

6. Notifications

Keyo uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver app notifications, and local notifications for reminders you create. Push delivery is handled by Apple/Google and Firebase under their own privacy policies. We do not read or store the contents of your reminders.

7. Children's privacy

Keyo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because Keyo collects so little data by design, using the app does not require creating an account or sharing personal details.

8. Your choices

• Use Keyo without Full Access to keep the keyboard entirely offline.
• Choose which AI provider — if any — the app talks to, or use Keyo without AI.
• Delete chat history, notes, reminders and stats at any time by clearing them in the app or uninstalling it.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change how Keyo handles data, we will update this page and revise the date above. Significant changes will also be highlighted in the app or on this website.
